What this means for drivers
Fuel is paid separately when renting a car in Georgia, so the new prices go straight into the budget of any road trip. Prices at different chains differ by a few hundredths of a lari and change on different days, which makes it worth comparing before filling a full tank.
For anyone who drives every day, fuel is a noticeable item in the cost of living in Georgia. The figures above are taken from the official price archives of SOCAR and Lukoil as of 1 October.
