What Changed

Royal Jordanian had no regular flights to Georgia before. Since 22 October 2026 the airline has connected Amman and Tbilisi once a week, on Thursdays.

Jordan's national airline Royal Jordanian has started regular flights between Amman and Tbilisi. The first flight on the route operated on 22 October 2026, as reported by United Airports of Georgia, the company that runs the country's airports.

United Airports of Georgia says it had been in talks with the airline since 2024. Royal Jordanian is a member of the oneworld airline alliance.

Schedule and aircraft

For now the airline flies once a week, on Thursdays, from Amman to Tbilisi and back. The route is served by an Airbus A320. United Airports of Georgia calls this weekly schedule the first stage of the route.

Before you fly

Whether you need a visa depends on your passport. The entry rules for Georgia list the countries whose citizens can come without a visa and the length of the allowed stay.

People usually get from Tbilisi airport to the city by bus or taxi. You will need some lari in the first days, so it helps to read in advance about currency exchange and cards in Georgia.

Status

The route opened with the first flight on 22 October 2026, and the next flights run every Thursday.
