Water Cut in Tbilisi's Isani from 21:00 on 15 October to 12:00 on 16 October: Mtisdziri, Kvareli and Abuli Streets

Part of Tbilisi's Isani district will have no water from 21:00 on Thursday, 15 October, to 12:00 on Friday, 16 October. GWP, the city's water utility, says it is cutting the supply for planned works on Mtisdziri Street, where the water network is being reconnected. The company's notice was published by Primetime and Metronome.

Which streets lose water

The cut lasts about 15 hours and covers these addresses in the Isani district:

• Kvareli Street: even 110-160, odd 115-163
• 4th Kvareli Lane: house numbers not specified
• Ushakov Street: odd 29-39, even 30-46
• Abuli Street: even 16-28, odd 31-45
• Gezati Street: house numbers not specified
• Konstantine Amirejibi Street: buildings 38-40 and 49-65
• Olga Bakhutashvili Street (formerly 8th Street of the Navtlughi settlement): house numbers not specified
• Giorgi Ghviniashvili Street: house numbers not specified

What to do

On the evening of 15 October, before 21:00, fill bottles, pots and the bath. On the morning of 16 October there will be no water for a shower or for cooking, so plan breakfast and the morning routine ahead.

When the supply returns, the water may run cloudy for a while. Let it run until it clears before you drink it or cook with it. This is a general precaution after any outage.

Water in Tbilisi comes from GWP, and the water bill is one of the utility bills in Georgia. The works are planned, and the company promises to restore the supply by 12:00 on 16 October.
