עבריתPower Cuts in Tbilisi on 5 October: 29 Chugureti Streets at Night, Petofi and Tsulukidze Streets by Day
Telasi will switch off electricity on 5 October: from 01:00 to 04:00 on 29 streets of the Chugureti district for network switching, and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sandor Petofi and Aleksandre Tsulukidze streets for emergency work.
On 5 October there will be no power from 01:00 to 04:00 on 29 streets of Chugureti, including Tsotne Dadiani, Pirosmani and Gogol, and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Petofi and Tsulukidze streets in Isani.
Telasi, the electricity distributor in Tbilisi, will limit the power supply to part of the city on 5 October. The company announced it on 2 October: a night outage in the Chugureti district and a daytime one in the Isani district.
Chugureti: 01:00 to 04:00
The reason is switching on the network. Residents of the following streets will be without electricity:
- Chitaia, Tsikhisdziri, Kapanadze, Paravani, Tetnuldi
- Chkhikvishvili, Mamradze, Michurin, Norio, Chubinashvili
- Davit Kldiashvili, Tsotne Dadiani, Kinkladze, Paliastomi, Gogi Dolidze
- Ninoshvili, Kikvidze, Zazishvili, Khatuna Dondua, Grozny
- Constitution, Rostov, Rekhi, Nine Brothers Kherkheulidze, Pirosmani
- Artvini, Gogol, Potskhverashvili, Mamardashvili
Isani: 11:00 to 15:00
Because of emergency work, power will be cut on Sandor Petofi and Aleksandre Tsulukidze streets.
What to do
If you live on these streets, charge your phone and laptop in advance and switch off appliances that should not restart on their own. If water in your building comes from an electric pump, store some beforehand. Telasi says supply will be restored as soon as the work is finished. The Telasi hotline is 2 77 99 99; your customer number is printed on the electricity bill in Georgia.
