How to get around

To cross the Mtkvari near the Old Town, use the Baratashvili Bridge or the 300 Aragveli Bridge. Cars coming along Gorgasali Street pass straight on without turning onto Metekhi Bridge. City buses that used to go via Europe Square to Baratashvili Street now run along Kote Abkhazi Street, and buses that used Kosta Khetagurov Street are rerouted along the left bank embankment to the Baratashvili Bridge.

The easiest way to reach the venues is the Tbilisi metro: Avlabari station for Rike Park and Europe Square, Liberty Square for the Old Town. If you order a taxi, set the pick-up point outside the closed zone, for example on Baratashvili Street or near Avlabari metro.

The restrictions are set by Tbilisi City Hall for Tbilisoba 2026. They stay in force until 08:00 on 6 October for the bridge and the square, and until 23:30 on 8 October near the Presidential Palace.
