What a permit means
A Rosaviatsiya permit gives an airline the right to fly a route but does not oblige it to start. Red Wings still has to assess demand, build a schedule and get approval from the Georgian side, so not every route on the list will necessarily open.
Some of these cities already had seasonal flights. According to Red Wings, in summer 2026 it launched Batumi flights from Saratov, Volgograd and Orenburg, among others, and served Georgia from 15 Russian cities in total.
What to do if you plan a trip
Until ticket sales open, the new routes exist only as applications. Check the schedule on the airline's website closer to your travel dates before you book a connecting flight.
Citizens of Russia can stay in Georgia without a visa for up to one year. The entry rules for Georgia depend on citizenship.
Status: Red Wings has filed applications. Neither the airline nor the Georgian authorities have announced launch dates.
